J.D. Salinger Written Famous novel"The Catcher in the Rye".He was died Wednesday in New Hampshire at age 91. He was best known for his 1951 novel The Catcher in the Rye, as well as his reclusive nature. The novel selling around 250,000 copies a year.
JD death is natural causes at his home in New Hampshire on January 27, 2010. According to Wikipedia, Salinger's literary representative commented to The New York Times that the writer had broken his hip in May 2009, but that "his health had been excellent until a rather sudden decline after the new year. He was not in any pain before or at the time of his death."
JD books are The Catcher in the Rye (1951), Nine Stories (1953), Franny and Zooey (1961) and Raise High the Roof Beam, Carpenters and Seymour: An Introduction (1963).
